Sacred Dialogue™
What is Sacred Dialogue?
A private, Christ-centered digital prayer journal. You capture what you sense the Holy Spirit is saying — through Scripture, prayer, a sermon, a dream, or a quiet moment — and Sacred Dialogue helps you organize, test, and remember it over time.
Is Sacred Dialogue a Bible app?
No. It is not a Bible app, a devotional app, therapy, or a replacement for your pastor or community. It is a companion for capturing and stewarding your own walk with God — Scripture stays the final authority, not the app.
Does Sacred Dialogue tell me what God is saying?
No. It helps you record what you sense or believe, and it never certifies an impression as divine or originates a "word from God." See our full guardrails page for how this is enforced.
How is this different from a regular journaling app?
A regular journal holds what you write. Sacred Dialogue also organizes entries by category (Identity, Instruction, Strategy, Insight, Promise, Correction, Warning), surfaces connections across months or years, and lets you photograph handwritten pages straight into a searchable vault.
Can Sacred Dialogue replace church, counseling, or pastoral care?
No. It is a personal prayer and remembrance companion. It encourages rootedness in a local church and refers you to pastoral, clinical, legal, financial, or emergency help when appropriate — it never substitutes for them.
How do I know whether an impression is from the Holy Spirit?
No single feeling or method guarantees the source. Sacred Dialogue teaches a discernment grid — testing what you sense against Scripture, the character of Jesus, its fruit, wisdom, time, and trusted community — rather than accepting it at face value.
Can my pastor or spouse see my journal?
Not unless you intentionally share specific entries. No leader or partner receives automatic access. You control what is shared, with whom, and for how long.
Is my information private?
Yes. Row-level security means only you can access your entries — not other users, not the Sacred Dialogue team. Your AI responses are generated server-side and never stored in any third-party system. We never sell, share, or mine your data.
What happens to a journal page after I photograph it?
The image is held in memory only long enough to transcribe your handwriting, then discarded immediately. No image is ever stored — no bucket, no URL, no image table.
What Bible translation does Sacred Dialogue use?
You choose your preferred translation from several public-domain options in your profile settings, and it is used consistently across Scripture citations, comparisons, and Lectio Divina.
How much does Sacred Dialogue cost?
Sacred Dialogue offers a monthly subscription and an annual subscription, at a discount for paying yearly. See the full breakdown on our pricing page.
Is there a free trial?
Yes. New accounts get a full-access trial with no credit card required. After the trial, your vault becomes read-only rather than being deleted — you keep everything you wrote.
What happens to my entries if I cancel?
Nothing is ever deleted. Your vault becomes read-only — you can still see and export everything you wrote, you just can't add new entries until you resubscribe.
What is beta access?
Sacred Dialogue is currently in beta. Beta access is free, and your feedback directly shapes what gets built next. Request access from the landing page and we'll reach out personally.
What devices and browsers does Sacred Dialogue support?
Sacred Dialogue works in modern browsers on desktop and mobile — Chrome, Edge, and Safari (including iOS Safari) and Chrome on Android. It is built mobile-first, since most users read and write from a phone.
Why isn't my camera or microphone working?
Browsers require you to explicitly grant camera/microphone permission per site. If you clicked "Block" or dismissed the prompt, Sacred Dialogue can't access your camera or mic until you re-enable it — see the steps below for your browser.
How do I re-enable camera access on desktop Chrome or Edge?
Click the lock/site-info icon in the address bar → Site settings (or Permissions) → set Camera and Microphone to "Allow" — then reload the page.
How do I re-enable camera access on iOS Safari?
Open the iPhone Settings app → Safari → Camera (and Microphone) → set to "Allow" or "Ask." If you already denied it for this site, go to Settings → Safari → Settings for Websites, find sacreddialogue.online, and reset it — then reload the page.
How do I re-enable camera access on Android Chrome?
Tap the lock icon in the address bar → Permissions → Camera / Microphone → set to "Allow." Or go to Chrome Settings → Site settings → find sacreddialogue.online and update the permission — then reload the page.
